Ok, so can I get football shoes at a shoe store?

Oh yeah whats that green dot thingy again I keep forgetting

Ok, so can I get football shoes at a shoe store?
Try a sporting goods store, I do not think a regular shoe store would carry them.
Reply:yep
Reply:Green dot means that helmet has communications in it.

NFL rules only allow 1 comms helmet on the field at one time.

the green dot shows the refs which helmet has comms.

if teams are going to have a trick play with the backup QB he has to have another helmet without comms to come in the game at the same time as the starting QB.

Check at Foot Locker or Dick%26#039;s or Finish Line

Reply:Hey the saints... judging by the looks.. I%26#039;ll go for Nike%26#039;s...But you cant really judge a shoe by the look itself.. you gotta have the feel...

Maybe your planning on grabbing some right?? anyways.. If you do..., Be sure to follow this tips olright...?

What kind of shoes are better for training? And for racing? For everyone at our clinics we recommend light weight shoes with thin soles. There is a certain philosophy behind this recommendation, which consists of several concepts:

1. The shoes should be light, so that their weight didn%26#039;t deteriorate the feeling of the foot as a part of the leg. It means that the feeling of the foot wouldn%26#039;t differ from the feeling of the whole leg, psychologically. Biomechanically it may affect the foot transfer in space and time: its speed, acceleration, and trajectory, which could all be deteriorated by heavy shoes. We can deliberately use heavy shoes for some special occasions of strength development, but not for a long time, and surely not permanently.

2. The shoes should have thin soles, with no cushioning at all. It reduces the weight, but this is not the main reason. First of all, it allows you to develop a very precise, refined feeling of interaction between the foot and the ground, while landing. Obviously, it is impossible to do this through a thick shoe sole. In a movement, when every hundredth of a second counts (the time of support in best runners is 0.15-0.20 sec.), the support time is a crucial thing for neuro-muscular coordination. When the signal for the foot to touch the ground reaches the muscles and makes them prepare for landing, it%26#039;s already too late. And cushioning here is the factor which deteriorates timing and as a consequence, running technique, by increasing the time of support and due to this, loading of joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.

Second, a thick sole and cushioning increase the possibility of pronation or supination, if the runner has a tendency to it. Hence, it leads to injuries, and we%26#039;ll talk about this separately.

Third, in Pose Method landing occurs on the ball of the foot, not on the heel, so the thick shoe heel structure doesn%26#039;t make any sense. Even more, it reduces the freedom of the heel, and ankle movement and decreases the calf muscle stretching elasticity effect.
Reply:Right now I have the Nike Total 90 Supremacy FG and the Adidas Predator Absolute SG and both are good.
Reply:Generally, they%26#039;re both close. In any kind of footwear. I%26#039;d go for Nike as easily as Adidas. Adidas %26#039; retros. %26#039; The good stuff.

What is the difference between Football Shoes and Running Shoes?

running shoes have spicks in

What is the difference between Football Shoes and Running Shoes?
football shoes have studs
Reply:Running shoes have more cushioning in the sole and obviously football boots have studs/blades to stop the player slipping during play.
Reply:They are different from each other...........as you know they are being used for seperate purposes. Visit any adidas or nike showroom and see the difference.
Reply:football shoes have studds to give you a better grip to the ground whereas running shoes usually have more and lighter rubber to give you better grip on asphalt rather than grass. Running shoes are much lighter in general and dont grip around your foot as tight so as to alow your feet to breath during long periods. A good pair of running shoes in general is much more expensive. You can pick up a fairly good pair of football shoes for about $120.oo bucks ;)
Reply:football shoes or %26quot;cleats%26quot; have little nodules on the sole of the shoe.they are primarily used by football players and running shoes are designed for %26quot;runners%26quot; or %26quot;joggers%26quot;.there is more support in running shoes to cushion and support the arch in the foot during running, jogging,or other vigorous activity.

How much will these football shoes cost?
I have not seen these anywhere. They are limited edition. If you were actually able to find them then they would be at least $250. The trouble would be finding them

What astro turf football shoes can I get for high arched feet?

I have got quite a high arch on my feet, so require quite a deep shoe. It is causing tendonitis on top of my foot.

What astro turf football shoes can I get for high arched feet?
don%26#039;t have a clue to your question, just felt sorry for you cos no-one had answered your question and i didn%26#039;t want you to feel left out.
Reply:There%26#039;s no particular shoe that%26#039;s made specifically for %26quot;high-arched%26quot; feet. I%26#039;d recommend getting some insoles (like those made by Dr. Scholl%26#039;s) that are designed for arch support. Take them with you to the store and put them in when you try on the shoes. Report It
